Joe Avati is not only a comedian but a successful producer of live shows, comedy CD's and DVD's. He is the executive producer of the Joe Avati Live series of shows around the world but also of ensemble shows like IL DAGO and Comicus Erectus. His first IL DAGO show won 'Best Comedy Show' in 2007/2008 and went on to win 'The Most Outstanding Performers of the Year' award. CANADIAN 'LIVE IN 05' TOUR 2005
Joe Avati returned to Canada in 2005 after a 3 year absence. He had toured constantly throughout 2001 and 2002 to cope with the demand generated by his emergence onto the Canadian comedy scene.

Joe Avati's second tour of the UK in 2006 saw him visit Bristol amongst many other cities including Swindon, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Hertfordshire and Woking.

2007 saw the emergence of the hugely successful IL DAGO show which went on to win 'Best Comedy Show' of 2007/2008 season and the grand prize of 'Most Outstanding Performers of the Year' award at the Australia Club and Entertainment Awards.

VIVA LOST WAGES AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2009
2009 saw Joe Avati return back to Australia and do what he does best - perform his bilingual Italo - Inglese show. Here he teamed up with the lovable Frank Lotito and Jerry Lewis Impersonator Tony Lewis to mock the global financial crisis and ironically, at the same time, sell out theatres and clubs around Australia.

LEGENDS OF AUSTRALIAN COMEDY
The Legends of Australian Comedy show which toured around Australia's eastern states was a co production between Joe Avati and Joe Accurso. The idea of teaming together five of some of Australia's greatest ever comedians proved to be a hit with audiences everywhere.

LAUGHING AT MYSELF UK TOUR 2010
Joe returned to the UK in 2010 after a four year absence to perform for the first time his show 'Laughing At Myself' as part of his European concert season.

Also in 2010 IL DAGO II - Now With Noodles was launched with newcomer Jason Chong. This show also proved a huge success running for almost two years around Australia.

Joe Avati and Joe Accurso co-produced Frank Lotito's DVD for Laugh Out Loud. Filmed at The Palms At Crown its a hilarious insight into growing up an Italian in Australia. Frank Lotito is a versatile and dynamic perfomer who went on to star in Big Mamma's Boy.

Written by and starring Frank Lotito Big Mamma's Boy hit the cinemas in Australia in 2011. It was a hit with audiences around the country. Joe Avati was pleased to be a part of this project as an investor and an associate producer.

As a grand finalist in the 2011 Australia's Got Talent competition Ben Price won over the hearts of millions of viewers across Australia with his spot on and hilarious impersonations of some of the worlds most recognisable faces and voices. Joe Avati produced Ben's Sydney shows.

In 2012 Joe Avati launches his latest production with some of the biggest stars of Ethnic Comedy around the world. Comicus Erectus - The Ethnic Comedy Evolution will kick off at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and move on to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
